All medals and silver used in the 2008 Beijing Olympics came from Jiyuan. Zhuang Jianqiu said that in recent years, Jiyuan City has placed the extension, supplementation, and strengthening of the silver industry in an important position, building a high standard silver city in China. At the same time, it has the only specialized jewelry electroplating industry park in Henan Province and the only testing center with the most complete functions in the central and western regions.
