On the 10th, the reporter learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Group that the first new generation manned launch vehicle's eight way accumulator in China has successfully passed cold impact tests and 1.4 MPa hydraulic tests, marking the successful breakthrough and mastery of the key technology in the development of the eight way accumulator by the 211 factory of the first institute of the group and achieving significant phased results. The first stage of China's new generation manned launch vehicle core is planned to have 7 engines installed within a 5-meter radius. The eight way accumulator is a key component of the universal core primary oxygen delivery system for the new generation of manned launch vehicles. It has a new structure, large diameter, dense welding seams, and harsh service conditions, making it the first time it has been used on Chinese launch vehicles. After two years, 211 Plant of the First Institute and the Second Office of the First Department of the First Institute carried out a systematic optimization demonstration of the product structure and overall development technical scheme, and fully applied the advanced automatic manufacturing technologies represented by the liquid filled stretch forming of the lower sphere, friction stir welding, electron beam welding, unsupported hanging welding, etc., greatly improving the overall welding quality and performance of the product. Subsequently, on the basis of the development of the first batch of products, Factory 211 will complete the summary, optimization, and improvement of process technology, development process, and tooling equipment as soon as possible, in preparation for the subsequent development of static components, power test pieces, and other products.
