The China Europe Railway (Beijing Moscow), a comprehensive logistics hub in Beijing, arrived at the Belerast Railway Station in Moscow, Russia, on April 1. This is the first China Europe train from Beijing to Europe. It is understood that this China-Europe train, loaded with 55 containers containing goods such as building materials, household appliances, clothing, etc., departed from Mafang Station of Pinggu Local Railway in Beijing on March 16, exited from the Manchuria Railway Port in Inner Mongolia, and traversed Russia all the way west. It arrived at Bererast Railway Station at 18:30 local time on the 1st. The whole journey is about 9000 kilometers and takes 16 days, arriving two days ahead of schedule. Alexander Hukin, the on duty director of Berelast Logistics Center, said that strengthening railway transport cooperation between Russia and China is of great significance to bilateral relations, which will help to close and develop economic and trade ties between the two countries, better realize the docking between the Eurasian economic union and the "the Belt and Road" initiative, and look forward to more China Europe trains from Beijing in the future. Belerast Logistics Center is jointly constructed by China Liaoning Port Group and Russia Railway Corporation, and is located 30 kilometers north of Moscow. The project will start construction in 2017, and both parties plan to build it into the largest multi-functional international logistics center integrating centralized transfer and warehousing in Moscow.
