According to the data disclosed by Gongbei Customs recently, three cross-border e-commerce export models have all landed at the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Port. In the first two months of this year, the value of cross-border e-commerce exports through the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Zhuhai Highway Port under the jurisdiction of the customs has reached 7.57 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 193.1%. In July 2020, the general export business of cross-border e-commerce retail at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge was implemented. The customs office actively takes advantage of its geographical advantages to build a fast cross-border logistics channel in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, promoting in-depth and coordinated development, and helping cross-border e-commerce business to operate steadily and increase efficiency in a large scale. Promoting regional linkage with Hong Kong Macao Airport and Hong Kong Kwai Chung Container Terminal, exploring new routes for sea land air intermodal transportation, has attracted many leading enterprises in the industry such as Shunfeng, DHL, Cainiao, etc. to carry out e-commerce business at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, gradually forming a radiation point for export trade starting from the Bridge Port, with export destinations reaching over 200 countries and regions. On March 25th, the first batch of cross-border e-commerce export overseas warehouse list mode physical goods were cleared here, marking the landing of three cross-border e-commerce export modes, namely, cross-border e-commerce retail general export, B2B direct export, and export overseas warehouse, on the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. With the continuous upgrading and optimization of the "one-stop" system at the Bridge Port and the successive implementation of customs facilitation measures, the current trend of cross-border e-commerce gathering at the Bridge Port is gradually emerging.
