Recently, the National Health Insurance Bureau issued the "Interim Measures for the Management of Medical Security Fund Flight Inspection" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"). Since 2019, the National Health Insurance Administration has dispatched 184 flight inspection teams, and 384 designated medical institutions have been inspected by flight. It has been found that relevant funds were used illegally and illegally, amounting to 4.35 billion yuan. In order to further strengthen the supervision of medical insurance funds, effectively improve the flight inspection mechanism, optimize flight inspection procedures, standardize flight inspection behavior, provide institutional support for the legal, standardized, and scientific conduct of flight inspection, and continue to crack down on fraudulent insurance practices, the National Medical Insurance Bureau has developed the "Measures" for two years. The "Measures" includes 5 chapters and 32 articles, stipulating the following principles, starting conditions, organizational methods, inspection requirements, inspection procedures, and problem handling of flight inspections, providing important institutional support for further standardizing flight inspection work.
