According to the person in charge of Laos China Railway Co., Ltd., the China Laos Railway has been put into operation since December 3, 2021, with strong passenger travel demand. Previously, passengers of the Laos section of the China Laos Railway sold tickets manually through windows and consignment points. In order to further improve the ticket purchasing experience of passengers, China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. has developed the Laos Railway Internet Mobile App ticketing system. It is reported that the ticketing system fully draws on the advanced and mature technology of the China Railway 12306 system, integrates the Lao laws and regulations, cultural characteristics and user needs, supports the three languages of Lao, Chinese and English, and provides functions such as user real-name registration, remaining ticket query, train number query, online payment, ticket change, and information. Passengers can query the remaining ticket information of Laos section of China Laos Railway at any time and purchase tickets online after registering with their real names in the system with valid certificates. The system supports UnionPay, WeChat, Alipay and other payment methods. When taking the train, passengers can take the ticket with their certificates and scan the QR code generated by the ticketing system at the time of ticket purchase. They can also go to the ticket window of the station to change into paper ticket checking and enter the station to take the train. After the Internet Mobile App ticketing system of Laos Railway is put into use online, passengers can buy tickets and change tickets online without leaving their homes, so as to arrange their travel conveniently.
