He once served as a special member of the CPPCC in Changchun, Jilin Province, and also served as a consultant of the CPPCC in Shanghai. As a participant in Chinese-style democracy, Yi Si explained how the local CPPCC can help solve practical problems through his experience as a special member of the Changchun CPPCC. Yi Si said that at the time of China's accession to the WTO, facing fierce competition for imported agricultural products, how to promote industrial optimization, improve the competitiveness of local agricultural products, and promote agricultural production was one of the focuses of the CPPCC Changchun Municipal Committee at that time. After investigation and research, Yisi, based on its experience in working in the WTO, made suggestions to solve this problem and put forward highly targeted and operable suggestions.
