From the political point of view, we should have a deep understanding that to realize Chinese path to modernization, we should take the lead in realizing China's educational modernization. The modernization of China's education goes hand in hand with the development of the cause of the Party and the country, and is an important part of Chinese path to modernization. The modernization of education should be based on the fundamental plan of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, focus on the fundamental task of cultivating morality, and provide rich and competitive human and talent resources for Chinese path to modernization. The modernization of education should aim to unite people's minds, improve personality, develop manpower, cultivate talents and benefit the people, and provide comprehensive services to support Chinese path to modernization. Adhering to the Party's leadership is the political guarantee of educational modernization. Colleges and universities should bear in mind the mission of "educating people for the Party and the country", consolidate and improve the modern university system with Chinese characteristics, firmly grasp the direction of the construction of first-class universities, ensure that the construction and development of first-class universities are always closely linked with the realistic goals and future directions of the development of the Party and the country, and contribute to the service of "four aspects". We should strengthen the use of the Party's innovative theory to cultivate people. From the perspective of the practice of Beijing University of Technology, we should pay attention to the inheritance of the "Yan'an root, the soul of military industry" red gene, and infect teachers and students with the deeds of patriotism and dedication such as "three generations of weapons" and "three generations of radar", so as to effectively transform the core socialist values into the daily conduct of young people, and cultivate new people worthy of the task of national rejuvenation.
