Over the past five years, a total of 29323 proposals have been received and 23818 have been reviewed and filed. Among the proposals put on file, there were 21520 members' proposals and 2298 collective proposals, including 1812 proposals from the Central Committee of the Democratic Parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the non-party personage sector. By the end of February 2023, 99.8% of the proposals had been answered. In terms of economic construction, more than 9500 proposals were put forward to implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, promote high-quality development and other major strategic arrangements. In terms of political construction, more than 2400 proposals were put forward in key areas such as firmly promoting people's democracy throughout the process, comprehensively managing the country according to law, implementing the overall national security concept, and promoting comprehensive and strict governance of the Party. In terms of cultural construction, more than 2100 proposals were put forward focusing on the theme of the times, such as enhancing cultural confidence, practicing core socialist values, inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture, and prospering and developing socialist literature and art. In terms of social construction, more than 7000 proposals were put forward on issues of concern to the people, such as improving people's well-being, improving the level of public services, solidly promoting common prosperity, deeply implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, and comprehensively improving people's lives. In terms of the construction of ecological civilization, more than 1400 proposals have been put forward around the strategic requirements of promoting green and low-carbon development, practicing the concept that green waters and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains, and promoting the construction of a beautiful China. Shao Hong said that the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) thoroughly studied and implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, solidly promoted the theoretical, practical and institutional innovation of the proposal work, and the proposal work achieved new results and reached a new level.
