In China, Southwestern University, because of its profound accumulation in the field of Sino-Greek civilization research, has cooperated with Renmin University of China, Shandong University and Sichuan University to prepare for the establishment of Chinese centers on an equal basis and carry out all-round cooperation with Greece. More than 2000 years ago, the two major civilizations of China and Greece were mutually reinforcing on both sides of the Eurasian continent, making a fundamental and significant contribution to the evolution of human civilization. Now, the establishment of the China-Greek Civilization Mutual Learning Center between the two countries is committed to promoting the exchange and mutual learning between the Chinese and Greek civilizations and promoting the development of civilizations of all countries, which is of great historical and epochal significance."
