China News Service, Chongqing, February 14 (Reporter Zhong Yi) The exhibition "The Warring States · Zhongshan State" will be officially launched at the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing on the 15th. On the 14th, the reporter went to inquire and found that the rare cultural relics on display, such as gold light, gold yoke jewelry and foot ornaments, crystal chess pieces, silver shells, and the proprietary coinage of the State of Zhongshan, were exquisite, exquisite and flexible, vividly displaying the history, culture, customs and customs of the State of Zhongshan during the Warring States Period. According to the Warring States Policy, the Warring States Period had "seven countries of ten thousand and five countries of ten thousand". Zhongshan, the only country in the "Land of the Thousand", was founded by Rong Di. In the troubled times of the Warring States Period, the State of Zhongshan fought against Yan, Zhao, Wei and Qi. After several ups and downs, it died in the State of Zhao in 296 BC. For more than 2000 years, due to the lack of historical records, cultural relics have been buried underground, and the mysterious Zhongshan State is rarely known. Since the 1970s, archaeologists have excavated the tomb of King Zhongshan in Sanji Village, Pingshan County, Hebei Province, explored the ancient city of Lingshou, the capital of Zhongshan, and uncovered the mystery of the ancient country of Zhongshan. In the two tombs of King Zhongshan and the Warring States tombs inside and outside the city site, tens of thousands of cultural relics such as bronzes, gold and silver wares, jade wares and lacquerware have been unearthed, which are of high historical, artistic and scientific value. The exhibition was co-sponsored by Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, Hebei Museum and Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. "The purpose of the museum's planning for this exhibition is to let the public see the splendid ancient culture of China without going out of Chongqing." Wang Qiyue, curator and associate researcher of the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum of Culture and Museum, introduced that the exhibition selected 106 groups of 192 cultural relics unearthed at the site of Zhongshan State during the Warring States Period, starting from archaeological findings, combined with the unearthed cultural relics and relevant documents, It tells the story of the ups and downs of Zhongshan State during the Warring States Period from its founding to its destruction. Among them, the silver-coated bronze double-winged divine beast, the silver-coated bronze rhinoceros screen seat, and the copper round pot are rated as "the treasure of the town hall". It is reported that the exhibition will continue until May 7, 2023 and will be open to the public for free. (Outlook New Era)
