Recently, Shaanxi Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the Guiding Opinions on the Construction of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture in Shaanxi Province in 2023. The Opinions clearly states that, around the four core areas of activity development, site construction, product creation, and brand building, we should deeply explore and sort out the cultural resources of traditional Chinese medicine in the province, and widely integrate traditional Chinese medicine culture into people's lives. The Opinions clearly defined five major work directions for the construction of Chinese medicine culture. First, we will continue to do a good job in the activities of free diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine and the theme activities of traditional Chinese medicine culture at the grass-roots level, promote the culture of traditional Chinese medicine into the grass-roots level, campus, community, and government, and carry out the work of traditional Chinese medicine science tour. The second is to orderly promote the construction of various traditional Chinese medicine cultural sites, strengthen the digital transformation of sites and the construction of traditional Chinese medicine cultural connotation in traditional Chinese medicine institutions. Third, all units and individuals in the whole society are encouraged to fully explore the rich cultural resources of traditional Chinese medicine in Shaanxi and actively create various cultural products and derivatives of traditional Chinese medicine. Fourth, continue to strengthen the building and promotion of Shaanxi traditional Chinese medicine cultural brands such as "Chang'an Medicine", "Qin Medicine", "King of Medicine Sun Simiao", and strengthen the excavation, support, recommendation and application of intangible cultural heritage and time-honored brands of traditional Chinese medicine in the province; Take the cultural activities, places and products of traditional Chinese medicine as the carrier, and strive to cultivate and build the cultural brand of traditional Chinese medicine in Shaanxi. Fifth, explore and develop the traditional Chinese medicine cultural industry, develop the traditional Chinese medicine cultural industry with Shaanxi characteristics, and promote the effective integration of traditional Chinese medicine and other industries.
