The Chinese side regards Cambodia as the key direction of neighboring diplomacy, and has always planned and promoted China Cambodia cooperation in various fields from a global and strategic perspective. It is willing to share opportunities, seek cooperation, and jointly promote development with Cambodia in the process of comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization, and work together to build a high-quality, high-level, and high standard China Cambodia community of common destiny in a new era, bringing more benefits to the two peoples, Contribute more positive energy to regional peace and stability. Politically, deepen strategic communication, strengthen the exchange of experience in governance and deepen exchanges through various channels. In terms of production capacity, focus on the construction of "industrial development corridor". In agriculture, efforts should be made to build a "fish and rice corridor" and carry out agricultural cooperation near the lake. In terms of energy, efforts should be made to ensure green development and increase investment in hydropower and photovoltaic power generation projects in Cambodia. In terms of security, the special joint action to crack down on cross-border crime will be carried out on a regular basis, and China will continue to provide mine-clearance assistance to Cambodia. In terms of humanities, China will give priority to resuming and increasing direct flights between China and Cambodia, encourage tourism cooperation, carry out cultural heritage protection and restoration work, and support Cambodia in developing education, health and other undertakings. The two sides should take the China-Cambodia Friendship Year as an opportunity to expand local counterpart cooperation, expand people-to-people and cultural exchanges, strengthen youth exchanges, and carry forward the cause of China-Cambodia friendship. Hun Sen said that he was pleased to be the first foreign leader to receive after the Chinese New Year. Whether it was the visit three years ago or this visit, I hope to convey a clear message that the Cambodian people have always stood firmly with the Chinese people. We thank the Chinese side for its firm support to the Cambodian people in choosing a development path that suits their own national conditions, and for providing timely and valuable support and help when Cambodia faces difficulties such as the COVID-19 epidemic.
