The digital model can not only be highly similar to the physical object shape, but also achieve performance simulation and almost achieve all-element mapping. Taking the holographic digital power grid as an example, its positioning accuracy reaches centimeter level, so that the huge and complex power grid and its details can be seen. Patrol inspectors can clearly and stereoscopically grasp the whole picture around the power grid and the site conditions without leaving the house. Through automatic route planning, automatic distress avoidance and other functions, the UAV can realize full automatic patrol inspection. It only takes about 6 minutes to complete the patrol inspection of one tower, which is 4 to 6 times more efficient than the traditional manual patrol inspection. Holographic digital power grid can significantly reduce operation and maintenance costs and operational risks, improve work efficiency, and have good economic and social benefits. With the construction of holographic digital power grid, automatic patrol inspection has been extended from small scope to all areas. At present, Jiangsu Power Grid has realized large-scale unmanned aerial vehicle patrol collaborative application and intelligent control, which can support thousands of unmanned aerial vehicles to work at the same time. In 2022, the number of automatic inspection operations will exceed 520000, 42000 transmission tower defects and channel hidden dangers will be found and eliminated in advance, and the detection rate of serious defects will be increased by three times. It is estimated that the annual operation and maintenance costs can be saved by about 200 million yuan. As an important pilot for the construction of new power systems, holographic digital power grid has contributed a new scheme to improve the safe operation level of power grid in China and the world through digital technology. The holographic digital power grid is equivalent to a high-precision three-dimensional digital "sand table", which can realize the simulation and deduction of the physical power grid in the virtual world, analyze and predict the status of the physical power grid in combination with historical data, effectively improve the ability to detect and deal with potential safety hazards and line faults, and promote the transformation of the power grid from "passive operation and maintenance" to "active operation and maintenance". For example, the laser point cloud remote sensing imaging technology is used to construct a three-dimensional scene around the power grid and monitor environmental changes in real time; Rely on the platform to simulate heavy rain, snow and freezing weather scenarios, and study and judge the impact of meteorological disasters on the tower and other facilities in advance. As a new exploration of infrastructure digitalization, holographic digital power grid has broad application prospects.
