On February 2, the Chongqing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision released a message that Li Yaguang, the former inspector of the Municipal Bureau of Sports, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and was currently under investigation. According to the public report of Li Yaguang's data map, Li Yaguang was born in 1958 in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. He is an attacking guard. He was selected into the Chinese men's basketball team in 1981 and has participated in international invitational competitions, major Asian and world competitions for many times. After retirement, he took over the coach of the Chinese women's basketball team and led the team to win the second place in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games as a coach. In 1994, Li Yaguang became the deputy director of the Sichuan Sports Commission, and in 1998, he became the executive deputy director of the Chongqing Sports Bureau.
