This is the 60th China-Europe train in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao this year, and the 2200th China-Europe train in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao since the normalized operation of the China-Europe train in 2016. In ancient times, there was the "trade caravan" of the Silk Road, and now there is the "steel caravan" of the China-Europe train. According to the statistics of the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, in 2022, Guangdong launched 965 international freight trains to Central Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, an increase of 123.9% year on year. At present, the "iron and steel camel train" in Dawan District spans the intercontinental, from "connecting points into lines" to "weaving lines into networks", and has opened 20 transport lines, covering 9 stations in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Jiangmen, and has extended to cover many countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road". The export commodity structure of the train is also continuously optimized.
