Recently, the National Health and Health Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other 10 departments jointly issued the Action Plan for Accelerating the Elimination of Cervical Cancer (2022-2030), proposing that by 2025, the pilot promotion of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination service for school-age girls, the screening rate of cervical cancer for school-age women will reach 50%, and the treatment rate of patients with cervical cancer and precancerous lesions will reach 90%; By 2030, we will continue to promote the pilot work of HPV vaccination for school-age girls. The screening rate of cervical cancer for school-age women will reach 70%, and the treatment rate of patients with cervical cancer and precancerous lesions will reach 90%. The Action Plan requires that the knowledge of prevention and treatment of cervical cancer should be popularized, HPV vaccination should be promoted, and the risk of disease should be reduced; Strengthen the cervical cancer screening service, improve the long-term screening mechanism, and strengthen the cervical cancer screening for female employees; Standardize the diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer, and do a good job in the rescue and treatment of cervical cancer patients. We should strengthen the coordination and cooperation of health, education, civil affairs, finance, medical insurance, traditional Chinese medicine, drug supervision, disease control, trade unions, women's federations, etc., so that they can perform their respective duties and responsibilities, form a joint force, and jointly promote the implementation of various strategic measures. We should strengthen the cooperation between government departments, media and other social groups, promote the establishment of a diversified funding mechanism, focus all efforts on promoting the cause of cervical cancer prevention and control, and mobilize the whole society to support and participate in the elimination of cervical cancer. In recent years, Guangdong, Hainan, Fujian and other provinces, as well as Ordos, Jinan, Xiamen, Wuxi and other cities, have successively introduced free HPV vaccination policies for school-age girls, which has played a good demonstration effect. The Action Plan summarizes local experience and proposes to promote HPV vaccination. The national level should accelerate the review and approval of domestic HPV vaccines that meet the requirements; At the local level, regions with conditions are encouraged to carry out HPV vaccination pilot projects and explore various channels to support the vaccination of school-age girls in areas with insufficient resources.
