Jointly building the "the Belt and Road" is an international public product provided by China for world development and an important practical platform to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Since it was put forward in 2013, China has always adhered to the development concept of "jointly discussing, jointly building and sharing", actively expanded open cooperation with co building countries, and achieved positive results in economic and trade exchanges and other fields. The initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" has significantly increased its international influence, which has been warmly welcomed by relevant countries and widely concerned by the international community. In recent years, China has continuously optimized the business environment, continuously lowered the entry threshold for foreign investment, and worked hard to promote the signing of high-standard economic and trade agreements with more countries and regions. It has launched major exhibition platforms such as the China International Import Expo and the China International Service Trade Fair, actively expanding the import of high-quality goods and services, and promoting the innovative development of service trade, Actively sharing development opportunities and achievements with countries around the world, including those along the "the Belt and Road", has greatly enhanced the sense of participation and gain of relevant countries. By the end of 2021, China has successively established a working group on smooth trade with 17 countries, an investment cooperation working group with 46 countries and regions, a bilateral e-commerce cooperation mechanism with 23 countries, and a service trade cooperation mechanism with 14 countries, providing an effective mechanism guarantee for deepening economic and trade cooperation with jointly built countries. From 2013 to 2022, China's import and export with countries along the line increased by 8.6% annually. In 2022, trade with countries along the route continued to maintain rapid growth, with imports and exports of 13.83 trillion yuan, up 19.4% from the previous year, 11.7 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate. 2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the the Belt and Road Initiative. In the face of the volatile and uncertain international situation, we should maintain our strategic focus, unswervingly expand the opening up, better practice the principle of co-construction and sharing, deepen the communication and strategic docking with the co-construction countries, and enrich and improve the cooperation mechanism. We will make good use of major exhibition platforms such as the China International Import Expo, accelerate the exploration and construction of a national service trade innovation and development demonstration zone, further tap and release the potential of jointly building a national trade market, steadily expand new areas of cooperation such as the digital economy and service trade, deepen cross-border industrial chain supply chain cooperation, and earnestly promote the high-quality development of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" from a higher starting point, a higher level, and a higher goal.
