"During the Spring Festival, with the help of the intelligent construction system, we can quickly and well complete the overall inspection of the dam," said Li Jiangwei. The 2023 Spring Festival is the first Spring Festival after the Baihetan Hydropower Station is fully put into operation. With 16 mega-kilowatt water turbine units put into operation for power generation, the construction of Baihetan Hydropower Station has entered the final stage. The all-night construction scene has become history, and there are only 3 sets of cable cranes in the world. Looking out from the top, the surging river was stopped here, and a lake with blue waves set off the banks was magnificent. Standing on the 289-meter-high arch dam of the river, people are excited. "What we are stepping on is a smart dam that can sense the 'fever of the head'." Li Jiangwei refers to the first ultra-high arch dam with low-heat cement for the whole dam at home and abroad. This "seamless" dam, which has created the wonders of dam construction in the world, is not only innovative in material, but also has thousands of thermometers and sensors embedded in the dam, leaving a large amount of information inadvertently left by the past rivers. "There are nearly 2300 warehouses in the dam, and the temperature and stress strain data of almost every warehouse are being updated in real time. If the alert threshold is reached, the dam's' central nervous system '- the intelligent construction system will send a prompt to the mobile phone, giving the direction of the key inspection." Li Jiangwei looks at the data information on his computer and walks slowly to the area to be checked. In the past, the inspection, operation and maintenance of dams were mostly carried out manually one by one, from the corridor to the access hole to other parts of the dam body, and the inspection was carried out in batches. This Spring Festival, the dam intelligent construction system liberated a large number of project inspectors, including Li Jiangwei, and less than 30 inspectors were left on duty by the Baihetan Dam Project Department of the Three Gorges Group. Moreover, the combination of real-time data and big data research is a new direction of dam operation and maintenance management. Li Jiangwei told the reporter of Science and Technology Daily that not long ago, the Baihetan Hydropower Station successfully passed the acceptance of water storage to the normal water level of 825 meters. During this process, the scientific researchers combined the stress data changes of various parts of the dam to truly analyze the operation status of the dam when the once-in-ten thousand years flood comes, providing valuable scientific data for the flood control construction of Baihetan Hydropower Station. Now, after the completion of the hub project, Li Jiangwei is not idle after the patrol inspection. The completion acceptance data needs to be sorted out, and the experience of intelligent construction needs to be summarized. "I am very proud to be able to participate in the construction of heavy equipment in big countries.
