From the perspective of production and supply, in November and December of last year, the stock of 5-month-old medium and large pigs in the national scale pig farm increased by 10.9% and 5.6% respectively year on year. The pork was successively released before and after the Spring Festival this year, and the market volume of pork increased steadily. At present, the national vegetable field area is 69223000 mu, with a year-on-year increase of 1012000 mu; The ten-day output was 17.048 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 429 million tons. From the perspective of market prices, during the Spring Festival (January 23-27), the national wholesale price index of agricultural products was 137.17, 1.43 points higher than the previous week and 0.61 points higher than the previous year; The wholesale price 200 index of "vegetable basket" products was 140.34, 1.66 points higher than the previous week, and 0.16 points lower than the previous week. From the perspective of circulation, the market is well stocked before the holiday, and the post-holiday transactions recover quickly. According to the Beijing Xinfadi market, more than 80% of the merchants opened on January 27 (the sixth day of the first month). At present, the vegetable trade has returned to normal, and the price has dropped compared with that before the festival. According to the Baishazhou market in Wuhan, Hubei Province, the merchants opened on January 23 (the second day of the first month) in succession, and the market undertook the task of guaranteeing the supply, the vegetable trading volume during the Spring Festival increased by about 25% compared with the previous year. From the perspective of the trend in the later period, the key varieties of "vegetable basket" have sufficient capacity and guaranteed market supply. At the end of December last year, the national stock of sows capable of breeding was close to 44 million, which was 107% of the normal stock of 41 million, slightly higher than the upper limit of the reasonable area of production capacity regulation. The stock of live pigs increased by 0.7% year-on-year, the stock of laying hens increased by 3.4% year-on-year, the stock of dairy cows increased by 8.2% year-on-year, the stock of beef and sheep was also at a historical high, and the stock of livestock and poultry products in the later stage will grow steadily. The area of vegetables in the field has increased steadily, and the meteorological conditions in January are generally favorable for the growth of vegetables. During the Spring Festival, the strong wind and cooling weather led to the freezing of some open-field vegetables, late-maturing citrus and other fruit trees in the south, but there was no strong snowfall in most areas, and the weather was sunny and the light was sufficient.
