The measures specify that bancassurance institutions should establish a full-process management mechanism for the quality of regulatory statistical data, including data source management, statistical caliber management, daily monitoring, supervision and inspection, problem rectification, assessment and evaluation. In order to urge the bancassurance institutions to attach importance to the quality of data, the measures clearly propose that the legal representative or principal of the bancassurance institutions shall bear the ultimate responsibility for the quality of regulatory statistical data. In order to guide bancassurance institutions to continuously improve their ability of data analysis, the measures clearly put forward relevant requirements for the analysis and application of regulatory statistical data, and guide bancassurance institutions to make full use of data analysis tools, carry out data analysis and mining applications, and give full play to the value of regulatory statistical data. The CBRC said that the release and implementation of the measures unified the banking and insurance regulatory statistical system and provided institutional support for solving the practical problems of the current regulatory statistical work.
