In order to ensure the quality and safety of fireworks and firecrackers products and ensure that the people have a happy and peaceful Spring Festival, today, the State Administration of Market Supervision announced the results of the national supervision and random inspection of fireworks and firecrackers product quality. This time, a total of 203 batches of products produced by 198 enterprises were randomly inspected, and 26 batches of products were found to be unqualified, with the unqualified rate of 12.8%. The unqualified rate of fireworks and firecrackers in the national supervision and random inspection in recent three years was 14%, 12.3% and 12.8% respectively. Seven types of fireworks and firecrackers products, including combination fireworks, firecrackers, spray, rotation, bead spitting, toys, and liftoff, were selected for this spot check, covering all categories of personal fireworks and firecrackers products. Among them, 95 batches of combined fireworks products were randomly inspected, and the unqualified rate was 11.6%; 88 batches of firecracker products were sampled and the unqualified rate was 14.8%. The unqualified items found in the spot check involve components, structures, materials, and discharge performance. Among them, the number of unqualified batches of component items is the largest, up to 20 batches. The unqualified problems are shown in that the ignition fuse of the product is not a green safety lead, the installation of the ignition fuse is not firm, or the ignition time of the ignition fuse does not meet the standard requirements. In the area of spot check, we focused on the spot check of manufacturing enterprises in Hunan and Jiangxi provinces in the industrial agglomeration areas, and inspected 133 batches and 47 batches of products, with the unqualified rate of 12% and 12.8% respectively.
