After the preliminary understanding of the situation, the Economic Development Zone Procuratorate and the Rizhao Municipal Procuratorate linked up, and repeatedly went deep into the site for investigation, summarized relevant problems, and determined the responsible unit according to law. In November 2022, the procuratorate of the Economic Development Zone launched the pre-litigation procedure of administrative public interest litigation, prepared and issued procuratorial recommendations to the relevant functional departments, urged them to eliminate the hidden dangers of road traffic safety as soon as possible, and implemented a series of specific measures to ensure traffic safety. After receiving the procuratorial suggestions, the relevant functional departments held several special meetings to study the rectification measures. Subsequently, relevant functional departments invested more than 1.1 million yuan to organize and complete a series of rectification such as updating the crosswalk and adding solar flash lights; Entrust the traffic sign design unit to add safety devices according to the current situation of the "problem" road section and the characteristics of mass travel. The local sub-district office reminded the passing people to improve their safety awareness by issuing "clear paper" and adding safety persuasion stations and counsellors at intersections.
