Under the background of the formal implementation of the patent open license system, the South China University of Technology and Guangzhou Intellectual Property Trading Center play their respective advantages in their fields, cooperate closely, actively carry out the exploration of the innovative mode of patent open license, jointly complete the declaration of the first batch of university patent open license in Guangdong Province, and build the first university patent open license special edition in Guangdong Province. Relevant units held a signing ceremony in the special event. The patent open license system is a new system created by the Patent Law implemented on June 1, 2021, which helps to promote the connection between supply and demand and reduce the institutional transaction costs. During the event, South China University of Technology brought five project roadshows, including intelligent process controller and its industrial application, preparation and application of functional plant extracts, and the new generation of fully digital ultra-high frequency wide band gap welding power supply and its application. Among them, Lin Lianzhu, a researcher of the School of Food Science and Engineering of the University, took Moringa as an example to share its development and application as a plant protein feed and health food. According to her introduction, Moringa has the effects of antioxidation, hypoglycemia, uric acid and blood lipids, and the research of this project has obtained many invention patents. In addition, the Institute also has a number of studies, such as plant extracts with hypouricemic acid function and plant extracts with hypoglycemic function, which are currently open to patent licenses. In the special event of "Intellectual Property Operation and Transformation of the Institute of Agricultural Genomics of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences" held on the morning of January 10, relevant institutions and enterprises such as Zhongnong American Vegetable, Zhongnong Sea Rice and Zhongnong Tracing participated in the project roadshow and shared the successful experience of intellectual property transformation achievements as innovative enterprises in the agricultural field.
