The Biennale Interprets "Beijing of Art" [The opening of the 2022 First Beijing Art Biennale will last until March 12] Recently, the 2022 First Beijing Art Biennale was officially opened in the National Foreign Culture and Trade Base (Beijing). Beijing audiences can use digital technology to see the magnificence of Yungang Grottoes in the past, and appreciate the sense of technology that actor Tan Zhuo turned into a digital person, Stroll around the Beijing scenery described by Dai Ze, a centenarian painter... The exhibition will last until March 12, 2023. With the theme of "symbiosis", the 2022 First Beijing Art Biennale presented more than 390 works by 240 artists from 20 countries and regions, aiming to think about building a community of shared future for mankind in the post epidemic era, and explain the new development concept of harmonious coexistence of human civilization and natural ecology, and the integration and development of digital technology and creative design. The 2022 First Beijing Art Biennale has adopted the "1+2+3" model, namely, one main venue (the national foreign cultural trade base), two branch venues (Beijing Friendship Store, Mumu Art Museum Qianliang Hutong Museum), and three exhibition forms (theme exhibition, parallel exhibition, satellite exhibition) to continuously demonstrate the rich ecology and diversity of Beijing as a cultural city. The symbiotic exhibition of digital technology and artistic creativity with a sense of science and technology presents typical artistic topics and samples, and enriches the meaning of the theme of "symbiosis" in both space and time dimensions: first, space "symbiosis", showing the prosperity of the synchronic development of diversified artistic ecology in Beijing; The second is "symbiosis" of time, which explains the past, present and future of Beijing's art ecology. At the same time, the "symbiosis" under the accelerated development of digital technology and network technology also includes the symbiosis between the virtual world and the real world, the symbiosis between digital technology and artistic creativity, and the symbiosis between digital creativity and real life. Digital technology breaks the boundary between space and time, and makes human's vision of understanding and transforming the world reach an unprecedented breadth. This Biennale has invited active curators and scholars in various art fields to act as the curators of the sector, explaining the theme of "symbiosis" from seven sectors. The "Visible Romance: Memory and Imagination about Beijing" (Part II) planned by Fang Fang, "Magic Cube: Mutual Reflection of Art and Literature" planned by Shen Boliang, "Earth Heat Flow: Visitors Returning to the Sun Time" and "Yingzi" plates planned by Long Xingru opened in Beijing Friendship Store on December 31, 2022. The "Blueprint Beijing" exhibition unit, planned by architect Ma Yansong, will be opened in Mumu Art Museum (Qianliang Hutong Museum) on January 13, 2023. In the "Endless Conversation" exhibition area of the National Foreign Culture and Trade Base, curator Zhu Zhu brought a collision between art and technology to the audience. On the first floor of the exhibition area, Liu Ye's painting "Literfield Villa in the Evening" and Rebecca Horne's violin installation art "DIE DREI GRAZIEN IM TANZ" were displayed in parallel. The two artists, as classmates, "talked" across time and space in the first Beijing Art Biennale. During the visit, the reporter of Beijing Youth Daily found that the installation art named "The Infinite Possibility Baguette" was the work of actor Tan Zhuo
