The Clinical Manual of Obstetrics was reviewed by Professor Gou Wenli and edited by Professor Lin Li and Professor Zhao Yangyu. It mainly focuses on three sub specialty fields: "perinatal health care content, common obstetric complications, and pregnancy specific complications", and focuses on standardized training of clinical practice. The Obstetrical Clinical Manual highlights the characteristics of portability, focus and simplification, focuses on clinical operation, closely adheres to clinical practice, and is attached with clinical operation videos to try to meet the actual needs of front-line obstetricians. "As one of the contents of the" China Eugenics Science Journey to the West "project, these two books will be presented to 11 provinces and grass-roots medical workers in the western region," Yang Jin said. It is understood that the "China Eugenics Science Journey to the West" project is one of the important projects of China Eugenics Science Association to "promote the health and eugenics of the population in the west". Since 2013, it has made contributions to the development of eugenics science and women's and children's undertakings in western China by organizing special academic lectures, expert rounds, expert free clinics, surgery, health education materials and other forms every five years. At this new book release, the China Association for Eugenics Sciences once again joined hands with the eleven western provinces to present new books, bringing valuable clinical experience and cutting-edge technology to the grass-roots level. "During our trip to the west, we found that hypertensive disorder during pregnancy was the primary cause of maternal and perinatal deaths in some regions of the west, and the lack of standardized obstetric diagnosis and treatment practices and backward knowledge and concepts were important reasons for affecting medical quality. For this reason, we decided to organize well-known obstetric experts all over the country to jointly prepare Hypertensive Disorders during Pregnancy (2nd Edition) and Clinical Manual of Obstetrics."
