What considerations does the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have in promoting the steady growth of industrial economy in 2023? Jin Zhuanglong: In 2023, China's industrial economy will face many difficulties and challenges, but we should also see that China has outstanding advantages in a complete industrial system and a strong domestic demand market, especially in optimizing epidemic prevention and control measures, stock policy and incremental policy, which will effectively release the vitality of market players, residents' consumption potential and industrial upgrading power, and bring significant positive impact on the recovery and development of the industrial economy. Focus on four aspects of work. First, we will increase the supply and implementation of policies to stabilize growth. Recently, together with the relevant departments, we have issued 17 policies and measures to boost the industrial economy. We will strengthen the coordination between departments, ministries and provinces, implement the policies and follow-up measures that have been issued, fully release the cumulative effect of policies, fully stimulate market vitality, and accelerate the recovery of the industrial economy. Second, focus on key industries and regions to stabilize the basic industrial growth. For pillar industries such as machinery, petrochemical, automobile and electronics, we will implement policies separately and study and formulate measures to stabilize growth by category. For new energy, new materials, new generation information technology, high-end equipment and other emerging industries, we will increase support for cultivation.
