Another case involving the former elected President of Myanmar and the former Minister of State was sentenced to 7 years' imprisonment respectively

On December 30 local time, the Special Court in Naypyidaw Prison in Myanmar sentenced former elected President Wen Min and former State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi in the case of illegal lease and purchase of helicopters. Wen Min and Aung San Suu Kyi were each sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. So far, Aung San Suu Kyi and Wen Min have been sentenced to 33 years' imprisonment and 17 years' imprisonment respectively for a series of convictions. The case of illegally renting and buying helicopters is the last group of lawsuits they have been filed. Both Wen Min and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi are not satisfied with a number of crimes that have been sentenced before.
