Over the past 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and New Zealand, bilateral relations have maintained healthy and stable development and created many "firsts". China Singapore cooperation in various fields has brought benefits to the two peoples and made important contributions to regional peace, stability and prosperity. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, the development of bilateral relations has made great achievements. New Zealand cherishes the long history of exchanges between the two countries and looks forward to continuing to promote bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples and the world. On the same day, Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister Aden of New Zealand exchanged congratulatory messages. Li Keqiang said that the Chinese side attaches great importance to the development of China New Zealand relations and is willing to work with the New Zealand side to strengthen communication, enhance mutual trust, expand exchanges, promote cooperation and promote new and greater development of China New Zealand relations with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as a new starting point.
