However, in the practical application of civil aviation, aviation fuel injection still depends on manual work on the ground, "refueling in the air" for aircraft, usually only in air exercises or military parades. This operation mode of shoulder and hand lifting and highly relying on manual labor has led to the widespread employment dilemma of the global aviation fuel refueling industry, which is "too old to work, and too young to do". It has become the demand of the whole industry to free the employees from the perennial high-intensity physical and mental labor, and effectively solve the problems of backward airport network conditions, inaccurate vehicle positioning, large and complex unified dispatching system and other problems faced by aviation fuel injection. However, from the perspective of equipment upgrading, the development of global aircraft refueling robots and collaboration devices has not yet started, and the automatic driving technology of airport special support vehicles is still in the demonstration stage. How can we break the situation? In the fifth "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Competition held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the project of "5G+aviation fuel injection special vehicle transformation and automatic driving innovation practice of dispatching algorithm" jointly researched and tackled by Beijing Mobile and China Aviation Fuel won the second prize of the national award, the first prize of Beijing regional competition and the third prize of smart energy track. "The project has built the world's first 5G dedicated network simulating the airport operating environment, created the world's first 5G+vehicle intelligent aviation fuel injection auxiliary device, refitted the world's first 5G+autonomous aviation fuel injection special vehicle, and developed the first 5G+aviation fuel injection special vehicle adjustment system in China." The project leader of Beijing Mobile introduced that the project team overcame several technical problems in the upgrading of the aviation fuel injection operation mode, For example, the combination of 5G and Beidou positioning technology effectively solves the coverage blind area caused by aircraft obscuration, and realizes centimeter level positioning accuracy of automatic fuel tanker driving. Thanks to AI and edge computing technology, the auxiliary refueling device can accurately locate the manhole cover and aircraft refueling port. "After the implementation of the project, the aviation fuel refueling special vehicle will change from manual driving mode to automatic driving mode, and lay a foundation for future multi vehicle collaboration; the application of auxiliary refueling devices will enable the automatic completion of heavy manual labor such as moving the manhole cover and lifting the refueling connector with one key; the intelligent scheduling system will change the scheduling mode that relies on human brain for multi factor analysis, and achieve intelligent multi task dispatch." The project leader of Beijing Mobile said, "As a result, the daily average labor intensity of fuel dispensers has decreased by two grades, the driving intensity of vehicles has decreased by 80%, and the safety factor has increased by 20%; the efficiency of fuel filling has increased by 50%, the cost of vehicles and labor has decreased by 30%; and the efficiency of intelligent order distribution has increased by 300%."
