How to play the unique role of art to enhance the affinity, attraction and appeal of ideological and political education? This is a question that Southwest Jiaotong University has been thinking and exploring. In combination with the actual situation of art practice, the school launched the innovative measure of "stories in music" lecture group, and actively explored the path of integration of ideological and political education and art performance. The Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee of the University, together with some colleges and university student art troupes, has established five "stories in music" lecture groups. Starting from the classic red music works, the team explored the party history stories, school history stories, current political hot spots and other ideological and political education materials behind the excellent music works to preach, and strengthened the effect with music performance, lighting up the light of ideological and political education with the beauty of art.
