Lu Zhaofu said in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 12th Malaysia China Entrepreneurs Conference on the 15th that cooperation between the two countries in various fields will promote the development of local industries and be conducive to bilateral trade and investment. Lu Zhaofu said that Malaysia's super large railway project, the East Coast Railway Project, is the best example of cooperation between the two countries. It is expected that this railway will accelerate economic growth in some parts of Malaysia. He also said: "I believe that the East Coast Railway Project will become a catalyst for economic growth of the East Coast and the West Coast, and promote the infrastructure construction of the East Coast." Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, said in his speech that China Malaysia cooperation has achieved remarkable results. He pointed out that China is expected to be Malaysia's largest trading partner for 14 consecutive years this year, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the world's largest free trade agreement that entered into force in Malaysia this year, will promote economic cooperation between the two countries. He said that with the full implementation of RCEP, China Malaysia economic and trade cooperation will continue to release new dividends. The ambassador said that the two countries not only actively deepen cooperation in traditional fields such as electronics and appliances, automobile manufacturing, railway ports, but also tap into the development potential of emerging fields such as e-commerce, digital economy and green economy. According to the report, the Malaysia China Entrepreneurs Conference was hosted by the Malaysia China General Chamber of Commerce.
