Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the ability of colleges and universities in China to serve the national innovation driven development strategy has been significantly enhanced. Many colleges and universities, starting from the urgent needs and long-term needs of the country, have accelerated their efforts to overcome key core technologies, especially the "choke" problem, to build a "national key tool". According to relevant statistics of the Ministry of Education, in the past 10 years, in terms of basic research, Chinese universities have undertaken more than 60% of basic research projects, won 6 of the first prizes of all 10 national natural science awards and 67% of all natural science awards.
