Premier Li Keqiang recently sent a message to Trovada to congratulate him on his assumption of the post of Prime Minister of  Sao Tome and Principe. Li Keqiang said in his congratulatory message that since the resumption of diplomatic relations between China, Sao Tome and Principe, bilateral relations have been developing healthily and smoothly, political mutual trust has been deepening, mutually beneficial cooperation has been advancing, and the results have benefited the two peoples. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of China Sao Tome and Principe relations, and is willing to work with Sao Tome and Principe to push for new progress in China Sao Tome and Principe comprehensive cooperative partnership and better benefit the two countries and peoples.
