The "Beautiful China · Japan Campus Tour" tourism promotion activity co sponsored by the China Tourism Office in Tokyo and Air China Japan Branch was held in Tokyo, Japan, on the afternoon of the 11th. Ouyang An, Director of the China Tourism Office in Tokyo, Chen Liping, Counsellor of the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Feng Li, President of the Japan Branch of Air China, Huang Xingyuan, Chinese representative director of the Japan China Friendship Association, and other guests attended and delivered speeches. The event was also supported by nearly 20 Japan China friendship groups and Japanese enterprises, including the Japan China Friendship Association, the Tokyo Metropolitan Japan China Friendship Association, the Association of Members of the Fengdao District Councils for Japan China Friendship Promotion. On the same day, nearly 200 Japanese student representatives from relevant universities in Tokyo, Japan and friendly people from all walks of life in China and Japan attended the offline activities, and nearly 100 people attended the meeting online. The sponsor said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, this activity was a new exploration and attempt to promote "beautiful China" tourism to Japanese young students. Ouyang An said in his speech that it was a happy thing that the tourism promotion activity of "Beautiful China · Japan Campus Tour" was held for the first time for students in Japan. I believe that the activities can open a window for Japanese teenagers to learn and understand China. I hope that Japanese teenagers can go to China more and get closer to China to perceive the real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China, and plant the seeds of China Japan friendship in their hearts, so as to pass on the banner of China Japan friendship from generation to generation. Chen Liping pointed out in her speech that it is timely and meaningful to strengthen youth exchanges between the two countries and promote China Japan civil friendship through the tourism promotion activity of "Beautiful China · Japan Campus Tour". Feng Li mentioned in his speech that in the future, we should continue to play an important role as a bridge and link for air exchanges between China and Japan, and make contributions to the exchanges between China and Japan's youth. In his speech, Huang Xingyuan stressed the importance and necessity of strengthening youth exchanges between China and Japan, and fully affirmed the significance of this activity. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama sent a congratulatory letter to the event. He said in his congratulatory letter that he hoped that through this activity, young people in Japan could better understand Chinese culture and history and lay a solid foundation for better exchanges in the future. The on-site promotion introduced China in an all-round and three-dimensional way from the perspectives of economy, technology, transportation, city, etc., and gave a wonderful interpretation of intangible cultural heritage and world heritage.
