Not long ago, I returned to Yunyang, Chongqing, my hometown, for creating documentary literature commemorating revolutionary martyr Jiang Zhuyun. Jiang Zhuyun was born in Zigong, Sichuan. Her husband, martyr Peng Yongwu, was from Yunyang. He was a political commissar of the guerrilla column in the east of Xiachuan at that time. On the eve of Chongqing's liberation, the couple organized an armed riot in Yunyang, and the blood of the martyrs dyed the land red. More timid near the hometown. Once back in the county, I came to Mingde Square to pay my respects to the Monument to Martyrs Peng Yongwu and Jiang Zhuyun. The statue of the revolutionary couple stood side by side in the midst of pines and cypresses, holding their heads high. This monument used to be located in the People's Square of the old county. When I went to school, the school would organize students to visit it every Tomb Sweeping Day. Today, this monument is still the most eye-catching red cultural landmark in this new city. The Lotus Lake Park beside the square has a beautiful scenery. A group of reliefs with the theme of "Sister Jiang Helps the Orphan" in the park is eye-catching. The stone is engraved with the scenes of Jiang Zhuyun's arrest, imprisonment, torture and writing about the orphan trust. The lake water is clear and tourists are like weaves. People stop to watch the relief sculpture and relive the red history. This land is "cloudy at four times, the sun of mountains and waters", so it is named Yunyang. Due to the construction of the Three Gorges Project, people in Yunyang went up the river for 38 kilometers and moved the county seat to the junction of the Yangtze River and Pengxi River. When the old county town of Yunyang was relocated, some historical and cultural relics were also relocated as a whole, and bricks and tiles were moved intact. Today's buildings, which are based on the mountain and stacked layer by layer, are still the beautiful scenery I saw when I was young. In the early morning of the third day after returning home, my father asked me to climb the ladder. At the beginning of the new city construction, Yunyang people designed and built this ladder. The stairway starts from the bank of the Yangtze River and ends under the Panshicheng, the commanding height of the county seat, with a total of 1975 steps. The whole stairway looks like a huge "person", which contains the urban spirit of "people-oriented and brave to climb". We climbed to the highest place step by step, and the whole city was in full view. The landscape of the Xiajiang River remains unchanged, while the hometown has become a modern park city with unique temperament. In recent years, Yunyang has also held many sports events, such as the International Ladder Climbing Competition, the National Beach Volleyball Competition, the National Bicycle Invitational Competition, the World Wing Suit Flight Challenge, etc. The sports factor makes the city more vigorous. In June this year, another good news came that Yunyang has opened a high-speed railway, which has made it easier to go home! This return coincided with the Golden Autumn Festival of "Born in Yunyang" held in Yunyang, which opened at the threshing ground in Taidi Village near the county seat. Farmers are singing and dancing in the fields to celebrate the harvest. Yunyang, once a poor city, has been lifted out of poverty and entered one of the top 100 counties and cities in the west, realizing a magnificent transformation. A 33 km long green road around the lake in the county seat was also completed at the arrival of the Golden Autumn Festival. In order to protect the Yangtze River and ensure the geological safety of the Three Gorges reservoir bank, the county decided not to engage in large-scale development, but to start the comprehensive improvement project of the reservoir bank environment. The demolition of sand and stone wharves and illegal construction along the river were completely stopped, and ecological restoration and remediation were carried out, and a large number of local plants such as bermuda grass, horseshoe tendons and asparagus were planted. After 7 years, the fluctuating zone of the reservoir, which was originally extremely fragile in the ecosystem, has become a green ecological barrier. At the same time, the newly-built green road around the lake connects several urban parks with a 3-meter wide bicycle lane, a running lane and a walking lane
