Recently, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi and the Department of Transportation of Guangxi jointly issued the Work Plan for the Construction of Guangxi Border National Tourist Scenic Roads (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). It is expected that after three years of construction, the three-dimensional transportation system of "fast forward and slow travel" in border areas will be relatively perfect, and the tourism products and services along the line will reach the domestic first-class level, and the goal of basically building Guangxi Border National Tourist Scenic Roads will be achieved. The Plan points out that the construction of the border national tourism scenic road should be based on the comprehensive protection of the cultural heritage along the Guangxi border national tourism scenic road and the surrounding ecological environment, relying on cultural relics and historic sites, historical buildings, traditional villages, border customs, special festivals and other human resources, deeply tap its profound cultural value and spiritual connotation, so that the border cultural heritage can live and pass down. It is required to build a border cultural tourism economic belt by relying on the industrial development of towns and villages along the line, connecting and integrating various resources along the line, strengthening integration and innovation, promoting the coordinated development of tourism and related industries. Integrate characteristic resources such as landscape and idyll, characteristic agriculture, historical culture and folk customs, promote the construction of a number of key demonstration projects of rural tourism, and promote the upgrading of rural tourism. The Plan specifies that Guangxi's border national tourism scenic road is 725 kilometers long. It is expected that in combination with the construction of the Sino Vietnam border tourism belt, Guangxi will focus on the resources of three cities and eight counties (cities and districts) along the scenic road, highlight regional characteristics, and build a development layout of "one axis, three groups, and four cores". Focus on cultivating three border national tourism scenic road tourism groups, namely Dongxing Fangcheng, Pingxiang Ningming Longzhou Daxin and Jingxi Napo. At the same time, we will explore and make use of Huashan rock painting culture, border historical culture, ethnic minority culture and other distinctive cultural elements to create scenic cultural landscape sections in Dongxing, Fangcheng, Ningming, Pingxiang, Longzhou, Daxin, Jingxi, Napo and other places.
