The district regards the quality improvement of characteristic agricultural industry as a breakthrough to create a national agricultural product quality safety county, and constantly improves the self monitoring ability of characteristic industries. For example, Dagou Town is a provincial-level specialized prawn farming town and a strong agricultural industry (prawn) town in China. Half of the administrative villages are mainly engaged in prawn farming and other aquatic products. The total area of aquaculture is about 21000 mu, accounting for half of the region. More than 900 farmers still focus on "individual combat", and the industrial chain is basically focused on the breeding link. In order to consider industrial upgrading and long-term development, give full play to the advantages of characteristic industries, and strengthen the leading role of leading enterprises, Dagou Town has invested 2 million yuan to build the town's aquatic product testing center, improve the aquatic product testing ability, and provide aquatic product testing services. At the same time, the town gathers farmers in the area under its jurisdiction, unifies breeding technology and product quality requirements, and ensures that special aquatic products are listed in strict accordance with food requirements.
