In the first 10 months of 2022, the total amount of social logistics in China will be 275.4 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 3.6% at comparable prices, 0.1 percentage points higher than that from January to September. The prosperity index of China's logistics industry averages 49.1%, which is generally in a reasonable range and fluctuates within the expected range. Hu Enthalpy, an analyst with China Logistics Information Center, said that the upgrading industry showed a good development trend in October, the industrial logistics structure adjustment was promoted synchronously, and positive changes were made in many fields. Among them, the total logistics volume of industrial products increased by 4.0% year on year, 0.1 percentage point higher than that from January to September; The total amount of goods logistics between units and residents increased by 4.2% year on year, 1.1 percentage points higher than that from January to September. From the perspective of industrial product structure, the new kinetic energy field led the continuous recovery of industrial logistics, and the logistics of high-tech manufacturing industry with high technology content and added value achieved accelerated growth, with a year-on-year growth of 10.6% in October, 1.3 percentage points faster than that in September. Among them, the volume of new material products increased by more than 50%, the volume of new energy products increased by more than 40%, the logistics of intelligent digital products increased by 20%, and the logistics demand of upgraded products such as green products continued to play a leading role. In the first 10 months, import logistics fell 5.5% year on year, 0.7 percentage points lower than that from January to September. However, in October alone, the total import logistics increased by 1.2% year on year. Driven by production repair in equipment manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing and other fields, the monthly import logistics volume increased for the first time in the year. On the whole, since this year, the import logistics trade structure has been further optimized. The import volume of agricultural products such as grains and soybeans continued to fall, bulk commodities such as crude oil and coal continued to grow, and electromechanical products such as machine tools, automobiles and automobile chassis rebounded significantly. In the context of stable demand, the operation of the logistics industry is basically stable. From January to October, the total revenue of the logistics industry was 10.3 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 5.8%. The growth rate was 0.1 percentage point lower than that from January to September, but the growth rate was still higher than the total amount of social logistics and the total cost of social logistics in the same period. Hu enthalpy said that in October, the overall demand for logistics continued the recovery trend of the previous period, and the development resilience of the logistics industry continued to show, effectively ensuring the stable operation of the economy. From the perspective of the trend in the later period, the company's expectations for the two months at the end of the year are generally positive, and the expected index will continue to remain above 50%. He said that from the perspective of demand, China's economic aggregate, complete industrial system and super large market scale advantages provide strong support for logistics demand.
