It is hoped that both sides will do a good job in the operation and maintenance of the China Laos railway, improve the transport efficiency and facilitation level, and better play the role of the railway in driving the economic and social development of Laos. China is willing to expand the import of marketable high-quality agricultural products from Laos, encourage Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos and expand cooperation in energy mining, power, clean energy and other fields. Li Keqiang said that China attaches great importance to China ASEAN relations, supports the construction of the ASEAN community, supports ASEAN's central position in the regional architecture, and jointly promotes regional economic development. China is ready to work with ASEAN countries to fully and effectively implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, promote consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea, and jointly safeguard peace and stability in the South China Sea. Thonglun thanked the Chinese side for its valuable support and assistance for Laos' economic and social development over the years, and said that in recent years Laos China relations have been making new progress and pragmatic cooperation has yielded fruitful results. Laos is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in key areas and further play the role of Laos China Railway in driving Laos' economic and social development. We hope to expand Laos' export of high-quality agricultural products to China, and welcome more Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos and participate in Laos' large projects.
