She pointed out that in the past three years of epidemic prevention and control, the Party Central Committee and the State Council have always put people's safety and health first, optimized and improved the prevention and control measures according to the time and situation, successively issued the ninth version of the prevention and control plan, issued 20 optimization measures, effectively responded to the uncertainty of the epidemic situation with the stability of the prevention and control strategy and the flexibility of the prevention and control measures, and achieved significant positive results in coordinating the prevention and control of the epidemic and economic and social development. With the weakening of the pathogenicity of Omicron virus, the popularization of vaccination and the accumulation of prevention and control experience, the epidemic prevention and control in China is facing new situations and tasks. We will implement the requirements of "preventing epidemic, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring safe development". At the symposium, eight experts, Zhang Boli, Shen Hongbing, Wang Junzhi, Liang Wannian, Du Bin, Feng Zijian, Yang Weizhong and Dong Xiaoping, made speeches, spoke highly of China's major achievements in prevention and control, and put forward suggestions on optimizing and improving 20 measures.
