Recently, the FB2 rotor of the first domestic 1000MW ultra supercritical unit developed by Sinoma Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd. was delivered to users, marking the full localization of China's million kilowatt ultra supercritical coal-fired power generation units. From the perspective of acceptance, all indicators of domestic FB2 rotor meet the requirements, especially the grain size, impact toughness, short-time high temperature durability and other indicators are superior to imported products, and the overall performance indicators have reached the international advanced level. Compared with ordinary units, ultra supercritical coal-fired power generation units have higher internal steam temperature and pressure, which is a new type of power generation equipment with high efficiency, low coal consumption and low emissions. Rotor is the key rotating device of ultra supercritical coal-fired power generation unit. In order to ensure that the rotor performance meets the standard, FB2 new material is widely used internationally for production. Its composition is very complex, and process design and quality control are also very difficult. Previously, only a few enterprises in the world could produce it. After more than 10 years of research and development, SINOMACH Heavy Industries has finally overcome the key technologies in the whole process of FB2 rotor smelting, forging and heat treatment, and received the first manufacturing order in January 2022. It is reported that the first domestic FB2 rotor will be used in the 1000MW ultra supercritical unit project of Yueyang Power Plant of National Energy Group Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd.
