In 1978, Takeo Fukuda, the father of Yasuo Fukuda, signed a peace and friendship treaty with China during his tenure as Prime Minister. Next year will usher in the 45th anniversary of the conclusion of the peace and friendship treaty between the two countries. How to continue to build a healthy and stable bilateral relationship is a long-term issue for Yasuo Fukuda.
