Cuba is the first country in the Western Hemisphere to establish diplomatic relations with New China. China Cuba relations have become a model of solidarity and cooperation among socialist countries and sincere mutual assistance among developing countries. China is willing to work with Cuba to continuously deepen political mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests, strengthen coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs, work together on the road to building socialism with Chinese characteristics, and constantly deepen China Cuba relations in the new era. We firmly hold the destiny of China's development and progress in our own hands. The two parties should maintain close communication, make good use of the mechanisms such as the theoretical seminar between the two parties, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, work together to promote the innovation of socialist theory and progress in practice, jointly open up a new realm of localization and modernization of Marxism, and build socialism in line with their respective national conditions. The traditional friendship between China and ancient times was personally concluded and carefully cultivated by the older generation of leaders. In the 62 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, in the face of the ever-changing international situation, China and Cuba have been steadfast in deepening the friendship of caring for each other, in carrying out mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, and in becoming partners in reform and development. China has always viewed and developed China Cuba relations between the two parties and countries from a strategic perspective, and has always placed China Cuba relations in a special position in the overall diplomatic situation. No matter how the international situation changes, China will not change its policy of adhering to China Cuba long-term friendship, its determination to support Cuba's socialist path, and its will to work with Cuba to safeguard international fairness and justice and oppose hegemonic power. Under the new situation, the two sides should enhance strategic cooperation and work together to build a community of common destiny in China and Cuba in the process of promoting the building of a community of shared future for mankind. China will continue to firmly support Cuba's defense of national sovereignty and its opposition to foreign interference and blockade, and is willing to work with Cuba to promote the implementation of the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative and jointly promote world peace and development. At present, Cuban comrades face great challenges. The cause of socialism has always been advancing in a pioneering spirit. We firmly believe that Cuban comrades will overcome all difficulties and will do their best to provide support and assistance. China is willing to deepen practical cooperation in various fields with Cuba, implement the cooperation plan of jointly building the "the Belt and Road", and work together to promote socialist modernization.
