The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that we should stick to the position of Chinese culture, refine and display the spiritual signs and cultural essence of Chinese civilization, accelerate the construction of Chinese discourse and Chinese narrative system, tell good Chinese stories, spread good Chinese voice, and show a credible, lovely and respectable image of China. The profound exposition of the report points out the direction for our writers and artists. Literature and art are the lifeblood of a nation. They can shape the "national spirit" and "people's spirit", and have great influence on young people in particular. They can imperceptibly help them understand the world, expand their knowledge fields, enrich their life experience, cultivate their sentiments, and establish a correct outlook on life, world outlook, and values. When I was in the director class that year, the teacher once said that the responsibility of a director is to "intervene in life by interfering with the soul". In fact, it is to let the spiritual gene of the Chinese nation take root in the hearts of the Chinese people through film and television works. One of the responsibilities of realistic theme works is to show the vigorous development of the whole society and the great progress of the whole nation under the leadership of the Party. In my art career, I was loved by both men and women, old and young, for playing the good father Xia Donghai in the sitcom "Family with Children". I have also received more recognition both inside and outside the industry as a producer and investor of the TV series "The Name of the People". In recent years, as a producer, director and actor, I have participated in the creation of such realistic film and television works as "Send You a Little Red Flower", "Embrace You Through the Cold Winter", and "The Name of Ice and Snow". Their stories come from life and are very touching. For example, "A Little Red Flower for You" tells the story of ordinary people's anti-cancer. The film digs out details from life and sympathizes with the audience, so that they can deeply understand the warmth of the world and the value of true love, and love life more. Practice has proved that successful literary and artistic works adhere to the creation orientation of taking the people as the center, tell Chinese stories well, and demonstrate our party's original intention and mission of working for the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. I am also the chairman of the Culture, Arts, Audio visual Communication Committee of the China Guangzhou Federation, and I am more aware of my responsibilities and missions. We launched the "Inheritance has me" work project, and organized public figures in the literary and art circles and young people to jointly learn and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture and red culture through a series of activities such as reading meetings, recitations, and lectures by famous artists. Looking back, we are pleased to see that socialist core values have been widely spread, excellent traditional Chinese culture has been creatively transformed and innovatively developed, cultural undertakings have become increasingly prosperous, and the network ecology has continued to improve. The younger generation has become more positive, the cultural self-confidence of the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups in China has increased significantly, and their spiritual outlook has become more energetic. As literary and artistic workers, on the journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way, we will take the socialist core values as the guide, and strive to cultivate new people for the times to undertake the great task of national rejuvenation, improve the people's moral standards and civilization quality, launch more excellent works to enhance the people's spiritual strength, and enhance the influence of the spread of Chinese civilization.
