As an ancient art, acrobatics can not come to this day without the innovation and transformation of generations of creators and the combination of skills and times. Literary and artistic works carry the spiritual power of moving and inspiring people. If the story is told well, the spiritual power contained in the work can be transmitted to the audience in an artistic and aesthetic way. As a writer and director of acrobatic plays, I have compiled and created 10 large-scale acrobatic plays in recent years, including "Crossing the River Reconnaissance", "Fighting Shanghai", "The Red Rhododendron on the Mountain" with revolutionary themes, "Bridge" with industrial themes, "Arsenal" with national defense construction themes, and "Bamboo in the East" with the new development concept of "Green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains". No matter what kind of theme, the main purpose of creation is to show the spirit of Communists through acrobatics, and to show the life animation of social changes on the stage. Acrobatic plays are plays that use acrobatics to tell stories. "Skill" is the foundation of acrobatic art. Acrobatic drama creation needs to naturally and accurately integrate skills into drama narrative. In this regard, I have two creative requirements for myself. First of all, in terms of plot structure, we should pay attention to the importance of big things. The main links must achieve dramatic narration and emotional expression through acrobatic techniques, and we cannot replace them with images or other technologies. For example, the highlights of the acrobatic drama "Battle against Shanghai", "Iron Bones Attack" and "Flying in the Rain Night", are the key battles to liberate Shanghai. In this battle, our army forcibly crossed the Suzhou River and attacked the telegraph building. Due to the inability to use heavy firepower, in the face of the crazy strafe of the enemy on the telegraph building, the soldiers broke into battle again and again, causing heavy casualties. In order to express their heroic spirit, I specially created the collective rope ladder technique to show the "close combat": eight pairs of rope ladders are hung from the sky, covering the entire stage space, and the heroic spirit of a batch of soldiers who are willing to fight with the enemy to the end moves the audience. Secondly, acrobatics skills should be used properly and skillfully to achieve the effect of four or two movements. The narrow Suzhou Creek in the play is like a natural moat. It cannot be attacked by force, but must be taken skillfully. How to use acrobatics skills to express vividly? We use the plum blossom pile technology in Southern Lion: the company commander led the commando to successfully cross the river by taking advantage of the rainy night and making use of the uneven "collision piles" on the river. It is my creative consciousness to tell the story well, consciously excavate and highlight the heroic spirit in adversity, praise heroes and people. The Red Rhododendron on the Mountain is a large acrobatic play with the female Red Army as the main character. In the play, Du Juan, the distinguished hero, and several of his companions, are influenced by revolutionary ideas and devote themselves to the revolution. They are at the age of flowering season and give their lives to protect the people without hesitation. The acrobatic drama "Bridge", featuring the builders of Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, tells the story of the hero's desperate rescue of the "sunk well" and praises the spirit of self-reliance and hard struggle. The acrobatic play "Bamboo in the East", while carrying forward the new development concept, eulogizes the craftsman's spirit and shows the era style of reform and innovation. Innovate in inheritance and develop in reference. While telling Chinese stories and conveying the spirit of struggle through acrobatic plays, we should also dare to innovate artistic expression methods and expand the performance space of acrobatic plays, so as to win more audiences.
