Zhengzhou, People's Liberation Army Daily, November 23 (Xinhua) Liu Xiaotian and Zhao Lingran reported that today, the first echelon of China's third group of peacekeeping helicopter detachment to Abyei took an air transport plane from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport to Abyei, East Africa, to carry out a 12-month peacekeeping mission. This batch of peacekeeping helicopter units are mainly drawn from an air assault brigade of the 83rd Army Group, which consists of one flight company, one aircraft company, one service company and one first-class hospital. After arriving at the mission area, under the unified deployment of the Afghan security forces, they will focus on the tasks of force projection, air patrol, material transportation, etc. (Outlook New Times)
