2022-11-23
On November 20, in a classroom of Nankai University, Emily (left) and her master Wang Wenlei practiced the Jingdong Drum. Amori, a Brazilian girl, is a master's student of Nankai University and is fascinated by Chinese traditional culture. She first got acquainted with China when she was in high school in Brazil. Because the school has Chinese classes, she is particularly interested in the Chinese food and scenic spots introduced by her teacher. Later, Emily got good results in the "Chinese Bridge" competition, which strengthened her idea of studying in China. In 2019, Ai Moli, who has been an international student of Nankai University, was first exposed to and fascinated by the national intangible cultural heritage project "Jingdong Drum" during the cultural experience activities organized by the school. She learned from Wang Wenlei, an artist of "Jingdong Drum", and learned the charm of Chinese traditional culture from her study of "Jingdong Drum". She also participated in many performances with her master. Amori hopes to become an envoy of cultural exchanges between China and Pakistan in the future.
