Retired teachers molested several girls during their re employment as teachers, and the murdered girls called the police for help. Recently, the People's Court of Luyang District, Hefei City, Anhui Province sentenced the defendant Xu Moumou to eight years' imprisonment for the crime of indecency against children, and was also sentenced to a lifetime ban on working closely with minors. The Luyang District Court found out through trial that Xu was a retired teacher of a primary school in Hefei and was re employed as a calligraphy teacher and calligraphy club teacher from March 2019 to September 2020. During his re employment as a teacher, he repeatedly molested several murdered girls in the calligraphy room alone or in the presence of other students. Xu's long-term and repeated acts of indecency caused fear, anxiety, self denial and suicide of the murdered girl. On June 16, 2022, a murdered girl dialed the 110 alarm number and revealed an obvious idea of suicide. Later, the police arrived in time to rescue her. On the same day, Xu was arrested by the public security authorities. After hearing, the court held that the defendant Xu had repeatedly forced indecency against several girls under the age of 14 during his more than one year of re employment as a teacher, and his behavior had constituted the crime of indecency against children, which should be punished according to law. The judge said that the defendant Xu Moumou was a professional teacher who had special responsibilities for minors when the case was committed. He should have preached, imparted knowledge and dispelled doubts. He insisted on teacher ethics, knew honor and shame, disciplined himself, and taught and educated people. However, he seriously violated professional ethics, corrupted teacher ethics, damaged the normal education and teaching order, and damaged the good image of the whole teacher team in society.
