Strengthen the concept of "peace and war integration". The border defense forces should not only perform daily border control tasks, but also be prepared to deal with border emergencies at any time. First, we are prepared to "raise troops for thousands of days". At present, the security situation around China is complex and severe, and the normalization of troops on duty itself is a manifestation of the normalization of the use of troops. This requires the border defense forces to continue to strengthen the cultivation of fighting spirit, continue to strengthen the thinking of officers and soldiers fighting when they are soldiers, leading them to fight, and training them to fight, and continue to strengthen the sense of hardship, crisis, and mission, so that the understanding of "cultivating soldiers for thousands of days and thousands of days" can be translated into conscious actions of officers and soldiers. Second, we should be ready to respond to border emergencies at any time. The border areas are characterized by complex civil and social conditions, sensitive military operations, diverse tasks, diverse objects, extensive scope, strong timeliness, and high political requirements. The rapid handling of each emergency is a real battle test. The border defense forces must attach great importance to the construction of war preparation capacity, organize emergency drills and joint defense and control of the party, government, army, police and people in a normal manner, and be ready to fight at any time and win the war. Third, we should be prepared to take the initiative based on the existing conditions. The border defense forces are deployed on multiple lines, with a wide range of areas and scattered forces. The commanders and fighters need to pay attention to the study of characteristics and laws in peacetime training, study war and plan war methods from the actual situation, and be fully prepared to take the initiative based on the existing conditions. Establish the concept of "integration of diligence and combat". Border defense duty refers to the management and control activities organized and implemented by border defense forces to safeguard national sovereignty, territorial integrity and security, maintain border order, master and handle border defense conditions, mainly including patrol, observation, incubation, and card setting. This is not only a normal task, but also faces risks and challenges. It requires border officers and soldiers to have a sense of mission and enemy awareness at all times when they are on duty. First, we should strengthen the concept that borders are battlefields. "The station is the position, and the border is the battlefield" is determined by the special mission of the border defense forces. Especially in recent border conflicts in the world, the border defense forces are all stationed forces to complete intelligence reconnaissance and combat tasks. Second, we should strengthen the concept that duty is combat. The border defense forces may encounter unexpected situations at any time in the daily execution of tasks. They must treat each service as a combat task to complete it. Each service must be dressed in combat clothes, have a practical combat background, be clear about the tasks, be strict with combat actions, and carry necessary combat equipment to ensure that they can effectively respond to situations. Third, we should strengthen the concept that sentries are positions of war. The border defense unit is basically a "sentinel" configuration, which is normally deployed in the frontier. If the officers and soldiers on duty are slightly slack and paralyzed, they may face danger at any time. Sentinel officers and soldiers must be alert for "one minute on duty and 60 seconds", and be ready for observation, early warning, reporting and disposal at all times. Highlight the coupling of "integrated training and combat". The consistency of combat training is an inevitable requirement for border defense forces to keep close to their missions and tasks and improve the level of combat. First, pay attention to the innovation of discipline. train
